Our client is the leading provider of niche tutors in the UK market. They have established a Cape Town (Southern Suburbs) back office where the main focus will be to grow consultant sales and recruitment targets. Job PurposeThe SA-based recruitment team recruits and manages all tutors for the company support and works alongside the account managers and sales team to complete compliance procedures prior to and after interviews. Main Duties And ResponsibilitiesCandidate management
- Recruit for all necessary tutors for a specific region/s.
- To assist with the recruitment of campus tutors and TA’s.
- Use online job boards, socials, and other methods to search for candidates.
- Make mini-cvs for tutors and ensure cv’s are of a specific standard and are reflective of the client’s requests.
- Manage availability and skills of tutors to meet client needs.
- Entering all new tutor details on to the system including all scanning.
- Responsibility for compliance process including but not limited to; pre and post-interview documentation, and references.
- Tutor training and CPD
Staff management
- Monitor and review staff performance and achievement on a regular basis.
- Hold meetings; discuss task delegation, review issues, monitor sick leave and attendance, reprimand, praise and discipline staff.
- Set weekly, termly and annual targets and objectives.
- Set out-of-term time tasks and targets for team
- Arrange weekly team meetings and individual 1:1’s.
- Interview and recruit branch staff along with the operations manager, induction of new recruits, staff training, 1:1 training and meetings, coaching, and support.
Other
- Timely liaison with director/ops manager regarding performance issues and remedial actions
- Resource team effectively including leave and succession planning, recruitment, and selection.
- Discipline staff in line with disciplinary procedures
- General adherence to policies and procedures
- Attend management meetings
- Any other duties as required
Requirements
- 5 years experience in the recruitment environment
- Tech Savvy
- Experience leading a dynamic young team
- Excellent speaking voice and telephone communication skills
- Target-driven and good business acumen
- Able to work UK Seasonal hours
- Reside in the Southern Suburbs
