Requirements:

• Matric and valid drivers license (code 10) with no road offenses
• 1 – 4 years experience of driving safely and must be reliable
• Escalation of issues to the BU manager and management
• Collection from debtors within a 45 day period
• Queries must be discussed with the account manager
• Attend Sales meetings with BU managers and ales account managers and highlight problems
• Follow payments through to all levels of a company to get payment
• Ensure that you respond to your manager and provide relevant feedback at all times

Responsibilities:

• Company assets vehicle – make sure it is maintained within timelines and in good condition
• Provide assistance as and when required for deliveries
• Observe road rules- no traffic fines
• Act as a back up for the other driver when they are on leave
• Ensure compliance to the OHS Act and Policy by understanding individual responsibility. Promote awareness amongst co-workers and add value through reporting of incidents/hazards or suggestions for continuous improvement of the current system.
• Based on the SMART Objectives relevant to your job function, make sure that Client Service/Satisfaction is prioritized.
• Petrol card is used in a responsible manner and only for business related trips
• Cheques banked in a timely manner and deliveries done within requested timelines and communicate and challenges in time
• Ensure compliance to the OHS Act and Policy by understanding individual responsibility. Promote awareness amongst co-workers and add value through reporting of incidents/hazards or suggestions for continuous improvement of the current system.
