An international plumbing and sanitary ware manufacturer is looking for a Marketing and Sales assistant with Social Media, Microsoft Excel, and Customer inquiry experience.
The duties for this role include:
– Assisting the Marketing and Sales Coordinator.
– Plan, schedule, write and boost social media posts.
– Receive and respond to inquiry emails.
– Basic Excel data analysis.
– Sending weekly sales reports to sales team using Excel templates.
– Sample and display stock control.
– Assist the Sales team by arranging for approval and drafting stock collection forms.
– Assist with Agency meetings for Google Adwords and SEO.
– Ensure website data accuracy.
– Contribute to and help maintain product information database.
– Pack and arrange a courier for deliveries to the sales team.
– Assist with events and expos.
– Fleet data maintenance including updating Customer GPS locations.
– Administrative assistant for vehicle changes, services
– Blog and other content creation.
– Be able to work independently.
– Be able to work remotely when needed.
Beneficial software and platform experience:
– Sage Pastel Evolution
– Microsoft Office
– Takealot Marketplace
Qualification:
Degree or Diploma in Marketing OR Digital Marketing OR Communications OR any relevant qualification.
Experience:
6 months to 1 year in Social Media or Marketing Assistant or Marketing intern role.
1 year Administration Role.
The successful candidate will be someone with a positive attitude and will be working closely with the Marketing and Sales Coordinator and the sales team.
Please note the role will be based in Northcliff, Johannesburg, but the candidate must be willing to relocate.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: R15,000.00 – R17,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Northcliff, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Marketing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Administrative: 1 year (Preferred)
